National Youth Games

at the BTS grounds

On July 3^rd, all students will meet at the BTS sports grounds (Am Mühlgraben, 95445 Bayreuth) from 7:45 am to 8:00 am for the Federal Youth Games.

Please bring your child to the BTS sports grounds on this day between 7:45 am and 8:00 am at the latest.

Please note that there can be no teacher supervision at the BTS field before 7:45 am. Children who use the bus shuttle to school each day will be taken directly to the BTS field on their bus that day. 

Please provide the children with enough to drink.The students will be transported to school by bus after the Federal Youth Games and can be picked up there as usual after school hours. Afternoon care will continue as usual. In the event of heavy rain on that day, the National Youth Games will be cancelled, and regular classes will take place at school as usual. In case of high temperatures, we kindly ask all parents to check their emails for "hitzefrei" (heat-related absence from school) from 9:30 am onwards.

The Federal Youth Games are a sports event initiated by the German Federal President and held annually at German schools and international schools. Students are expected to achieve good results in specific disciplines such as swimming, athletics, and gymnastics. We will be conducting the Federal Youth Games in the discipline of athletics (throwing, running, and jumping).

The achieved performances will be evaluated using standardized tables and awarded participation, winner, or honorary certificates based on the points obtained.
